Somewhere in Nicaragua
Welcome to your Tuesday surf report! Swell’s gone down considerably. But like all things in life, it’s even good to take things in moderation, even with surfing. Good to give the body a little rest and prepare for what mother ocean is preparing and cooking up for us next… which is soon!
In the meantime, I bet a lot of people are stoked to be back out in the water and not having to feel like they’re in constant survival mode.
Turns, which haven’t really even been doable for the last week or so must feel nice for a change.
The ocean really is a trip. This place, swell or no swell has a personality all of its own.
This guys top turn says his personality is that he dedicates a lot of time to the water…
and it shows on each wave!

Here’s a nice angle you don’t get to see very often (especially from the land).
Nice bottom turn from this dama… and no that’s not a shark fin in the far right hand corner in case you were curious.
Quite a bit of vacationers here right now, which is really a good sign of a potentially great season…. much better compared to last seasons (for business) that is!
That’s one heck of a stringer if I must say so.

Happy Monday everyone! It’s that time again. Time for a new week… but down here in Nica-Land, we don’t always like to run by a schedule, at least if we can help it. Well the swell (or lack of swell) also made it a little hard to time the surf sessions today, so I ended..
Hola amigos and happy Saturday! We had some pretty windy (offshore) surf today. Tide was high going out as the morning progressed so I wanted to get on it soon before the day ran away. Jump in!
Happy Friday everyone! Today the waves were firing. They were a bit fast, but that’s what makes this wave so fun. Never a slow moment at one of the best barreling waves here in Nicaragua.
