Nicaragua Surf Report for Thursday, April 29, 2010

Unfortunately the wind stayed onshore today as well but we have to say that the surf was really fun.  There were some head high waves on sets and everybody was having a blast with the warm and nice water.  It rained pretty good last night and with the onshore wind that means we have a lot of fish out there.  Check it out!!!

We are going to start with this cool round house move by this unknown rider.  There were many fun waves to practice every kind of maneuvers all over the place.

Today we want to share a couple of sweet life shots from down here in Nicaragua.  Here we have Miguel and a few locals that took a ride with us to the beach.  Check out Felipito’s face, so stoked to get photographed.

Did we say the surf was fun?  Check out this guy getting some shade on this killer right.  Who said we do not get fun waves with onshore winds?

It rained a little bit for the last days so a couple trees are starting to turn green and a few other ones are showing us all their beauty nature.  What a cool looking tree, uh!

The rainy season is almost here and now there is no river that can stop us to go to the most popular surf spot around town.  A few years ago it was really tough because this river was flowing lots of water but this year we have a brand new bridge.

Pancho Sanchez was able to paddle out today and picked up some of the cleaner waves of the day.  Here he is showing us his backside style with this sick snap on this beautiful right.

It is nice when you see dad and daughter hanging out together.  Unfortunately when they got big enough they go away and you stay alone.  I guess that’s how life is!

David from Gigante was taking advantage on some of the better waves we had rolling in.  Check him out going big with this sick frontside aerial maneuver.  Hey man, this is a sweet high resolution shot.  It will be sick to blow it up and hang it on your wall.

Alright folks, we are going home for now but we are expecting to score more fun waves tomorrow.  Hopefully the wind will be back offshore tomorrow.
