Nicaragua Surf Report for Wednesday, May 01, 2024

Josh S

Hey everyone. Josh back for the next few days. Colorados was the place to be this Wednesday morning. Super glassy and stomach to chest high sets.

Josh S

It was mostly shortbaorders out this morning, but there were still playful medium sizers for longer gear. This guy working on his high-line drive on his forehand.

Lindsey snuck into a few clean right insiders. The water color and smooth ocean surface really gave the surf season vibe today.

Josh S

There was definitely a bit more power in the waves today. There were some nice barrels coming through even at a slightly higher tide.

Josh S

The south peak had some beautiful A-frames rolling through. The rights (like this one) were arguably better than the lefts when they came.

Josh S

If you don’t get behind the curtain on the first section, then you can always try again on the second section!

Josh S

Kevin got the combo of the day on this small left. Kevin can turn a subpar wave into an excellent ride.

Josh S

Kevin fanning his feathers and making sure everyone knows to give him space unless they want a complimentary shower haha.

Josh S

The third lash to seal the deal on this clean insider left.

Josh S

Luca setting up for some epic tunnel vision down at the South Peak. The rights can be tricky there, but if you get the right one then you are sweet.

Josh S

Kevin couldn’t sit still out there. Another quick lip blast from one of the fastest surfers on the coast.

Josh S

A finale slash from a double-deck-pad rider. This was a great wave, but his trailing arm limited his rotation through this turn.

Josh S

It was a really fun morning of waves! The swell should continue to fill in over the next few days, so be sure to stop in for the report.
