Right out front when the swell is this strong is very tricky. The currents and the closeouts can take their tole. Here’s a charger trying his luck. we decided to check out a couple of other spots close by.

Horseshoes was doing it’s thing with nice A frame peaks sneaking through. You need a tad more board out here but if you get a good one you might remember it for the rest of your life.

There were just two guys out so there were so many unridden waves coming through. Here’s a nice looking lefthander.

Example #2. How clean is that thing?

After awhile one of the guys got himself a gem. It was worth the wait. He took this one all the way though the inside and it had a nice wall the whole time. Nice one hombre.

Same wave but just a bit further in. I would call that overhead. How about you? How big would you call this? The swell is supposed to increase even more tomorrow. I can’t wait to see the carnage.

Now for spot number three. We mostly have lefts here in Nicaragua but every now and then some of the more rare spots start breaking. A lot smaller but still so fun.

We were stoked to walk up after the drive and see this long right. We could hardly wait to wax up and get out there. Pretty sweet feeling.

There were just a few of us out so there was plenty to go around.

Lester was in full affect. He’s always in the right spot at the right time.

For a couple of the boys it was the first time surfing here. DJ with a sick one.

Be sure to check back in tomorrow, the waves should be epic. We will be here to bring you all of the action. Armando and I hope you have enjoyed our report for the day. We are heading to the house now to break out a couple of bigger boards and see what Horseshoes has to offer. I will let you know tomorrow how it was. PAZ mi nicas!!!
