It looked almost on shore, but it was definitely blowing pretty good from the south and not straight in from the ocean. Otherwise you’d see it white capping out the back. Here this guy found himself a nice little inside corner pocket that actually looks pretty glassy on the wave face.

The colors and lighting was super vibrant and water felt so nice getting my feet wet and off of that hot hot sand. Chica Ripper going for probably one of the only rights that I saw out there while I was shooting.

Otherwise, everything coming in was pretty much all lefts.

This main peak was the spot and the crowd that was packing this nice little takeoff zone had a pretty good flow and rotation of waves since it was actually pretty consistent.

Blowing a little tail before this wave eventually closed out. Nice one buddy!

But the bigger sets, like this one here, had maybe about 4 to 5 waves in each set that would come in about every 15 min or so. . .

BUT, this is how everyone that paddled and took off on one ended up dealing with the uncontrolable side shores. Just blowing these waves right out and creating what started to look like some promising big chunks coming from way out, but would then just wall up after the take off. Making it super hard to get around that bug crumbly section.

One last sick maneuver, but todays session was more about just getting out there and catching some waves and cooling off and lots of carnage!

Mr. Jeison, played it smart and went up to a reef way up past Limon dos. He said it was really good in the morning! We’ll see how things pan out around here tomorrow, so stay tuned.
