There was a small crowd of 5 surfers, all cornered on the North side aiming to catch the lefts… there was a semi-strong side shore coming from the South which turned the rights into several peaks and almost impossible to ride.

The lefts had a great shape but you know how Panga is… hard to find the the take off zone and then a long slow ride with plenty of room for cutbacks.

It’s the perfect spot to practice wide turns, digging the rails and get back to the pocket.

Some of the waves had a closed out section at the end, a great place to press the ejection button and flight to the back of the wave.

Fly amigo, spread your wings and fly away to the horizon!

There was only one guy trying the rights every other set, this was the best ride he got, hitting the foam before it shut down on him.

It’s not rare to see a nice A-Frame at Panga Drops but today I was surprised to even see one… I’m glad one surfer got to be at the right spot to take it.

I even think he got a quick barrel on that one, am I right?

Did I say wide turns? This guy went almost to the sand and back on this one. He has a good technique.

Looks like the Eject button was not working properly for this guy, his time was off and he didn’t get to fly away, just got full on slammed on the face of the wave. Ouch!

Big sets, big paddles, big waves, more big paddles, big drops, big turns, big rides, and a little more paddle… this is Panga Drops.

Come back tomorrow for more waves from this beautiful place we get to call home, and you are more than welcome to visit us!
RECENT REPORTS

Hey everyone! Welcome to Friday’s surf report from Playa Colorado! The waves were similar size to yesterday. Shoulder high on the sets, but smaller in between.
FROM THE ARCHIVES

Welcome to the humpday Wednesday surf report and we are expecting a little bump in the hump for the size of the waves to start ramping up. This morning a couple of hours before the low tide you could see some potential but the swell hasn’t started hitting hard quite yet..
