Somewhere in Nicaragua
Happy Hump Day amigos! Haha, well I don’t get to say that too often, as I’m usually off on Wednesdays. Today I’m filling in for Baldo and I’m sure after seeing todays report as well as you fine people will be wishing you were here for todays waves! Let’s jump right in shall we!!?
I got down to the beach today to see THIS!!! Yes, I’m not going to lie… you’ll always see my best shots from the day I shoot. However, todays waves, although not super consistent, they were the best waves we’ve had here for a little while. Well, I’m not going to complain!!!
And neither would you if you were Kevin Cortez!
He was amping the whole time I was down there shooting.
Jet was amping too….! How sick is this little man backside turn. I’m not sure how your surfing was when you were under 5, or if you were even surfing then, but this kids got no fear!
Big or Small, this place it made for barrels. This weekend however will be in the really big department.

Only by illusion can I say this is getting way to close and personal for social distancing. Jajaj – Kev getting all up in Peter & Krystals personal space!

Well, ok in all fairness, there was one guy looking at him taking off besides me. Bet his view was almost as good as Kai’s on this wave!

Mr. Derek can cruise like a cadillac on any cruisy day here like the rest of them….
But rest assured, he’ll probably be one of the only select few who might seriously paddle out at this place if it’s maxing come this weekend.
I hear some of the outer breaks will be breaking too, which is good sign. So if you can imagine this wave here will be about 3 times bigger and breaking ohhhh a little further out too.

I just had to give my amiga Jenna the last parting surf shot of the day for nabbing this emerald green beauty. Nice one hermana!! She rode this thing like a champ too!
Time for lunch? Time for rehydration? Time for a siesta? Time to get ready for the afternoon session!!! YES all 3 sounds good to me!
Ok my surf minded friends. That’s a wrap for todays report. Cruise on back tomorrow for Chris’s surf repot and hopefully see if we have the same if not better waves mañana. Chao for now ~
