Hola amigos!! Que hondaaa?? Happy Wednesday to all and welcome to the NSR surf report. It was a fun morning at the reef so check out what we got!
Today was a down day for us. Small swell (just for one more day!), winds got a touch swirly for the lunch hour (back to smooth offshore now), and early morning high tides. Still always fun to catch a few before breakfast.
Roger never downplays it and always gets after it. Maybe that’s why he’s well positioned and cruising past Rio right now.
Talk about another EMHEC member: Chief Papi Surf. Kenny is always calm, composed, cool (and usually locks into a couple nugs).
How’s the view from the Casa Blanca pool? Hang out in there, drink a few Tonas, and have eyes on the wave all day for whenever it turns on!
We’ll give you another good view of the property too. Balconies (not pictured: epic 3rd story porch), hammocks, lounge chairs, and rocking chairs. Also not mentioned: meal plan staff and prime location in the neighborhood. Do yourself a favor andcheck it out.
We have a couple Brazalians in right now and this muchacho wisely navigated this wave… She’s a tricky one so sometimes you have to go backwards to go forward. #doless, right?

Besides Roger taking this left (and an unknown surfer taking the right), let’s talk about what’s going on in the community. Did you know Hacienda Iguana is in the works to get a clinic?!? Yeah, exciting stuff and it’s awesome to see people like Olga Limacher and Megan Lacki doing all the leg work. So, play some volleyball for a good cause. It’s even cooler to see local businesses support the initiative. Casa Maderas is known for their tasty grilled meats and they are putting 100% of their sales on Monday wing nights towards the clinic. Visit them to meet the awesome owners, the coldest beer in Tola, andtasty food for a good cause.
And don’t forget to do a little schralping while you’re visiting too!!!
