Señor G in his perfectly and always well timed place out there in the double football sized playing field of epic waves.

I delicately like to call his zone the G Spot! Heeeey now, get your mind out of the gutter, he’s Señor Gillem and that G is because the is a “G”…. an OG that is….. old school surfer that could probably show you a thing or two out there if you’re nice and speak easy out here in the lineup if you’re ever in his neighborhood.

Hayd’s taking full advantage of the dominate rights that were coming in with this new swell angle.

Lesther is now and has been for a while one of the handful of the “Santa Marta” crews, unofficial water safety patrol of our beloved beach here. They’ve already made a really amazingly good amount of rescues and have actually prevented some of what would have been certain drownings. If you ever want to give back to the community, please donate any water safety gear or feel free to just throw them a few bucks if you are feeling the love for all that they do toNica Heartbeatyou can visit their sitehereto get in touch and see what you can do to help show your appreciation for these hard working local guys and their super valiant efforts in making this beach that much more safe!

If it’s frothy does it make you froth harder? Good question, I’d say. But this layback is pretty sick and has me pretty frothed out!

Same with Jason’s air! The surfing level was high… high as their punts!

This guy’s maybe… just maybe got one fin in there on this turn. He pulled off the turn, but that’s how you do real high performance surfing right there.

1 fin, 2 fins, 3 fins. Boards are capable of letting you slot up to 5 fins now all at one time. I really would LOVE to share my futuristic fin idea on here with you, but then I’d have to kill you…. it’s Tesla Surfing level stuff, its that cool! AND I am pretty certain (if it’s not already in the works) it will eventually happen. Do I have any venture capitalists readers on here that wanna talk???? I’m actually really serious about it and it is totally doable and would change the fin game pretty much if you can imagine like how Simon Anderson did with his thruster setup. GAME CHANGER!!!

That ones a grower and a shower! Just make sure you get into that thing buddy!

The reef looking all mystic and peacefully like a wreckless abandon I’d want nothing to do with all at the same time.

Not so mystical, but mysteriously barrel surfers on the norm and on the daily.

See…. all my mystery barrel surfers have every single frame from the stoking and paddle in, to the pop up, bottom turn, no bottom turn ardor take off under the lip all the way to the kick out. Some with spit, some with magician like doggie dooring it, coming out unscathed.

I call this one the peeper shot. He’s not quite there to the “Mystery Barrel” Status….. but a frame or two more and he sure will be!

Go ahead, go squeeze your nuts into that nice blue little nut cracker! You’d be nuts not to… at least for the shot on the report!

May 11 and here’s our Green Stage level. I think we’re around 85% or a little more. Haaaa and it’s just the beginning of May. It’s gonna be a wet season. RECENT REPORTS

Happy 4th of July! The size of the surf dropped notably today. There were still good sets, but patience was key (again). Hard to believe there were no takers on this one!
FROM THE ARCHIVES

Hola and welcome to the Monday surf report. We still have some incredible swell out there in the water. Conditions were a little scattered in terms of when to find the good window, but that’s why I stayed down there almost the entire day shooting & watching. Here’s my take on todays waves! Hope you..
