Somewhere in Nicaragua
Hey, this is Pancho with your Sunday surf report from Maderas. It was a full beach day today with head high sets, light winds and clear water. By now you’ve noticed some changes we made to NSR over the weekend – we’ve completely updated the whole website to better share information with you. When you have a chance, poke around to see what I mean.
This is “hermano Manuel” grabbing a fun one all to himself. There were about 25 people in the water, but there were plenty of waves for everybody and as always, the vibe was super chill at Maderas.
We’d like to extend a warm St. Auggy welcome to our good friend T.Smith, in town for the week. Here he is with Carlos Caliente, posing with the ladies on the beach.
Most of the waves were fun and playful today, but every now and then, a set like this would come in and make us wish we had our short boards. These three had no idea though.

Hey everyone! Welcome to Tuesday’s surf report from Panga Drops. The swell was notably stronger than I expected. Some early season Pacific power! Middle peak was the place to be, but it was windy.
Hey amigos! Welcome to Monday’s surf report from French Fries. The waves were pretty much firing when I rocked up to take pictures, but just like yesterday the wind went side-shore as soon as I put the camera away. At least some surfers caught the magic window.
