This is a good friend of NSR, Shanone with a little tube on this right. He was catching a bunch of good lefts this morning before he nabbed this pitching frontside!
There were a bunch of peaks all along the beach, which helped spread out the crowd. Nice A-frame coming in down the beach a ways.
This guy picked off a hollow one! You can tell from the guy watching that it was shallow. Makes for some good tube sections!
This Lady from San Diego paddled out on her big red log and caught some great waves. Looking for a little tube section on this left!
Shanone again, burning some speed with a backside hack! The lefts were not as plentiful as the rights but were just as fun.
Chris surfs this wave well because he knows how to go fast. You need some speed to come out of speedy tubes like this one!
Andrew swam out with his GoPro and snapped this shot of Kike getting slotted! It was as calm as glass like this allll morning! Thanks for checkin’ in on us, that’s all for today. We’ll be back again tomorrow with a wave check from the West coast of Nicaragua, take it easy everyone!
RECENT REPORTS
Hey amigos! Welcome to Tuesday’s surf report from Panga Drops. This lady either ended up a bit later than anticipated or misunderstood what it means to get barreled haha! I’ve got to give her credit for looking at this wave though. You don’t know if you don’t go (or at least look at going).
FROM THE ARCHIVES
what up! this is Chewy with your Reporte del Norte! The waves are alright running waist to chest with offshore winds. The waves have a little grand funk railroad in them.
Hi and thanks for joining us for the Wednesday surf report. Today we sent Mateo “Guineo” to the beach with the camera and he got back into town with a couple cool photos of the action. It was running about waist to chest high on sets with offshore winds and the water was warm. Check..
The waves are still really fun – chest to head-high with fast stretchy barrels out here today. The wind is doing it’s swirly – offshore in the morning/onshore in the afternoon thing this time of year. There are definitely still some fun ones to be had out there though! This first shot of the day..
