I’m not sure how cool and collected this dude is actually walking out to the water…. but I have some pretty acclimated feet to hot sand over all the years here marching up and down this beach, but that sand was like walking on hot coals!

But once you made it to the water and paddled out to the lineup, the last thing you would even be thinking about is how hot the sand was. Here’s a picture perfect of a double take off. Something that’s not always so easy to capture; but it does a good job at showcasing how peaky it was and how good both sides were.

But realistically, the rights were on complete FIRE today. Just keep scrolling through and you’ll see why.

Hunker down in the aquatic bunker. This place isn’t in any kind of war zone anymore, but this guy’s definitely running or trying to keep away from the bomb that’s trying to light him up!

Even the view from some of the inland fincas have million dollar views. But you’d never even know it. Most people stay and watch from the comfort of the safe and comfortable zone at the beach club. Maybe one of these days, I’ll take an even better hike where, only us few photogs know where to go where pretty much only the monkey’s watch people get pitted from.

The view…. this is a view people pay thousands of dollars for on trips that can sometimes take you days just to even get to. This view is only about 8 hours away (including the flight, driving time from MGA and waxing up your board) flying in from Miami International Airport.

The consistency of todays waves were insane. They all very much looked way too closely alike. In other words, this swell is very very good!

This is the same dude from the previous shot (in the sequence) so you know how far he went from clean, clear blue untouched foamy water to this inside (also super sick btw) ending wrap around. The makable waves, which were a lot, were long and complete drainers!

Sometimes surfing can bring out some of your not so good emotion. Thus giving this wave the double bird, this poor bloke wasn’t too happy about something.

Ahhhhh, well that would explain it! haha

This guy coming out from another one of the sick barrels of today and doing this move was a “For Sure” bet on my report today….

I mean, check it! most people will pull the sickest of sick barrels, but to pull this off at the end, it was WSL level type stuff!

Hernan is a barrel lover, a barrel magnet, a barrel aficionado… you can call him anything you want, but just make sure there’s a barrel included in the title.

If you can even zoom in, you can see how completely stoked my buddy is. He knows how special today was and think it’s supposed to get bigger tomorrow you can only imagine what’s going through every surfers minds tonight, right now!

There was more cover up at Playa Colorado today than a fashion show in Milan. LOL

Kev standing very comfortably tall without even an inch of fear for a ceiling that could easily rip your head off or give you a whiplashing that would curb you out of the water for a good amount of time. This right here is years of experience and a lot, I mean a lot of confidence with your surfing. Yeah Buddy!

Can you imagine Sean’s view….. that’s right, I’m not even gonna try and give him a mystery barrel title. He along with all the other barrel killers out there today were all on point and getting about as deep as I’ve seen people get here and still come out and the makable percentage was epically high!

Lesther making a quick trip home for some water for rehydration, maybe a quick little bite to eat for some paddle fuel and he’s back out there for the afternoon session. Tomorrows supposed to bump up in size, so definitely check back for Chris’s report as the dudie is on surf detail dutie. haha you like that Mr. Chris? RECENT REPORTS

Hey everyone! Josh back behind the lens for the next few days. Welcome to Wednesday’s surf report from Colorados. The swell head steady from yesterday, but unfortunately the wind got on it by 10:30am. There was an afternoon rain shower and I came back around sunset after the rain to find that it had cleaned..
