The mornings have been the best time… that is if you want to beat those side shore and onshore winds that’s been lurking around here.

Clean and glassy nuggets like this here is what the people have been posting to their favorite social media outlets. This guy’s got his Instagram view engraved in his mind for the rest of his trip for sure, with waves like this.

The weather has been pretty humid, which explain the backwards winds in these parts later in the day. You can see here that the winds were still blowing slightly offshore at this time.

If it’s small or seems small, whether it be the outgoing tide or in between sets, or other elements that make a nice juicy swell seem like it’s disappeared, just remember, you can always be back home working. ICK!!!

Mind surfing.. nah, I don’t mind, mind surfing.

With the recent overload of perfect waves in fresh water wave pools, it’s kind of refreshing to see some imperfection the ocean likes to throw at us every now and then. Right??

Of course, moves like this can be done over and over again and you could practically go from a very novice surfer to advance within a month at one of these new waves pools…

yes, but where’s the fun in that?

Then again, wave pools could be a very good answer to population control. Of course this guy doesn’t care since he had this lineup practically all to himself.

I said practically because there’s the one other surfer out. haha.

I wanted to save the best wave of the day for last. Here’s a nice little sequence of my buddy Scott getting…. Nica Pitted!

Hows that guy’s paddle wake on the going up the shoulder?

Just for the record, Scott made this thing after he traveled for some time in this nice little salt mine. Sick one buddy!!!
