Somewhere in Nicaragua
Bummer. We’ve got overhead swell in the water today, but we’ve also got our 5th day of the year of onshore winds. (yes, we are spoiled) We stayed in San Juan Del Sur and shot some locals surfing in the Bay. Check it out.
Here is young Rex. Believe me, this guy surfs more than anybody you know…and it shows.
This is Jose, grabbing a nice left. All the groms surf in the Bay because they can’t get rides to the beach.
Here is Larry, showing us how to get up on a 1 footer. Larry had an impressive showing in the last contest and continues to improve.

OK, we’ve still got variable winds, rain and GOOD SWELL! It’s running overhead, to slightly bigger on sets. We got lots of pictures today – Roberto was busy. Check ’em out. We surfed a good break South of San Juan Del Sur, call Playa Remanso. It was a great wave. Check out the pics. This..
