Somewhere in Nicaragua
Another day, more fun swell. We’ve still got some swirly winds today – light offshore in the morning and turning onshore in the afternoon. The morning session was on though, and we had overhead barrels for all.
This is Ethan, visiting from HI and locking into a nice left.

Oh yeah, Roberto says “Don’t forget the Nicaragua National Surfing Tournament, THIS WEEKEND (May 21 and 22) at Popoyo!” Looks like we’ll have some good waves…if the weather holds.

Hey amigos! Welcome to Thursday’s surf report from Colorados. I saw the waves turn on and off about 7 separate times today. The conditions were in constant flux. It just so happened to be that the best window of the day was when I took pictures around 1:00pm.
Hey everyone! Welcome to Wednesday’s surf report from Colorados. The waves were better by all measurable metrics today. It was still walled up and slow, but there were definitely some 10 pointers to be had.
Hey amigos! Welcome to Tuesday evening’s surf report from Colorados. The swell was bigger and stronger today, but it was very slow between the sets. I think the lack of a secondary swell combined with the sandbars not being in perfect shape made for long waits.
