Nicaragua Surf Report for Tuesday, May 18, 2010

The swell dropped down a little bit today but we have many fun waves rolling in and we were there to prove it.  It was running about waist to shoulder high with some occasional head high waves on sets and the winds were nice offshore.  Check it out!!!

Today Lucha got hired by a crew from Salvador, so he was pretty stoked to understand everything they were saying, because sometimes his English sucks.  To start with the crew we have Federico digging a deep and powerful bottom turn on this right.

Juancito was killing on the giant stand up paddle board all day long.  Here he is with a killer cross step photo.  Hey Panchito, you gotta learn how to do that my friend because that shit is super cool.  Don’t you think so?

Roberto was able to pick up some of the better waves we had rolling in.  Check him out going big with a nice backside tube ride.  That guy knows how to do it, uh!

Here we have George riding a nice sized wave.  Actually this wave looks pretty small on him but that is because he is a tall guy.  His chef calls him Goliad, I don’t know why!

Pedro was ripping all over the place.  Here he is attacking the lip of this poor little inside section.  He actually got many more sweet shots beside this one, but we do like this one because it looks like Lucha was shouting in the water.  Good job Lucha!

This is Billy smacking the lip of this nice left hander.  How said that Latin people doesn’t know how to surf?  These boys were so stoked because Lucha got over 800 photos each sesh they had.

Here on this shot is caught the last member of the crew riding a cool little nugget.  It was really nice to meeting you guys, hope we can meet again in the future.

There were some sick waves coming in this morning and this guy scored probably the best one.  Hey man, we got a 14 sequence shots of this wave.  We know you didn’t make it but it was the sickest tube ride of the day.

We had some fast waves coming in as well, and there were a few guys charging hard to make them.  Check out this guy working on this nice sized right, go,go, go!!!

On the last shot of the day we have this little kid getting drained on this small but sweet right.  The waves are supposed to be about the same tomorrow but we are hoping to get a big swell in the next few days so stay tuned with us!
