Somewhere in Nicaragua
Hi everybody, welcome to the Monday surf report. We are Jairo and Roberto reporting from up north. Today we woke up early in the morning to score some fun waves with the crews. Yeah guys, today Lucha have the Virginia Beach guys and Come Pan was hired by our Brazilian friends. So today we split the waves and everybody had fun. Check it out.
We want to start the day with our friends from Viginia Beach. “Sitos” Breit decided to go out and charge today. Here he is trying to get into that shack.
Our friend Rick “El Juez” Aflee was ready to rip up some waves after the big wedding. Here he is showing us that he still has some energy left to spend in the water.
John “Juan Lago” Lake was practicing some radical maneuvers. Here he is going off the top with a cool floater.
Ed “Eduardo” Power was using his POWER today to make some late drops. Check him out going big on one of the best set waves of the day.
Chuck “El Presidente” Zauzing paddled out too and was catching a couple of fun ones. Here he is styling on a small but sweet wave.
Bob ” El Cebollo” Morecock was dong his thing too on the big panga. He was going fast as a real panga with a 120 yamaha motor. Hey my friend, i bet your family is happy because you are having such a good time down here.
The Big Duke was kind of sore today and decided to spend the day on the beach and make some jokes with Lucha. Here is Lucha with the big revolution having fun at NSR Beach House.
Allen “Beez” Beasley was taking a couple of long rides today. This guy was really generous because he brought a bunch of baseball stuff down here to give away. We are really grateful and so are all the kids!!!
This is what I love most about my job. I can make people happy with the photos I take. Check out the Virginia Crew watching a slide show of the photos from today.
On the other side of things we have Come Pan who had a lot of fun with the Brazilian crew. They were so stoke because they had more than 700 good photos to take back home. From left to right we have Eduardo, Marcelo, M el Banano Choko and Victor about to go out and have a geat time.
Victor “El Jefe” Lesbao was shredding out there on some nice waves today. Here he is with a sweet snap.
This is M “El Banano Choko”, he is the crazy guy of the crew. He’s always drinking Victoria even right before he surfs. He told Jairo that he gets power from the beer.
This is Marcelo trying to throw the lip off this wave with a cool vertical shot by Come Pan. This guy can surf pretty well.
Today a couple of locals were out there surfing really well . Check out Joel “El Capullito” Chavez with a sick maneuver. This little kid is only 12 years old and he’s already a good surfer.

Oh man, we’ve got some fun waves today. The wind turned back offshore this morning and the swell is still double-o on the sets. Days like this remind us why we live here. Check it out – some guy from Cabo, ripping.
Hurricane Adrian hits El Salvador today and it is wrecking havoc throughout the region. We’ve had onshore stormy conditions and big, but not very surfable waves. We made it out to the beach early in the morning to take these pics before it got too bad. Maderas.
