The Popoyo Surf Torneo is ON! And over 250 spectators are fighting through it despite the onshore, stormy conditions. The swell is pushing in solid overhead crumblers and many of the competitors, who are not used to imperfection, are having trouble.
Here is a surprise set wave.
Since the waves weren’t much to write home about, we thought we’d run through some mugs of the Heat Winners who are going to advance to the semifinals tomorrow.
