Somewhere in Nicaragua
OK, here we are on Sunday and we just got a new crew into the NSR Beach House. Left to Right we’ve got Larry, Johnny, Bobby and Lester-y. The waves are running a fun sized chest to head high. The crew hired out Roberto for the day and went home with some killer shots. Check it out!
This is Johnny, making us all look slow and old. Yes, he was killing these little waves and we got some great shots.

Lester the Pester pulled out this spaceship looking board. It was pretty much a longboard shape, but it was only about 6 feet long.
Here is Johnny again. Making us feel old and slow, again. Shortly after this shot, we discovered he was cheating…
This is a close-up shot of Johnny’s foot that Roberto secretly shot. Count the toes on that sucker – and this is no photoshop job either. At least he was making good use of the extra grip.

Hey amigos! Welcome to Monday’s surf report from French Fries. The waves were pretty much firing when I rocked up to take pictures, but just like yesterday the wind went side-shore as soon as I put the camera away. At least some surfers caught the magic window.

The Popoyo Surf Torneo is ON! And over 250 spectators are fighting through it despite the onshore, stormy conditions. The swell is pushing in solid overhead crumblers and many of the competitors, who are not used to imperfection, are having trouble.
