Somewhere in Nicaragua
Happy Tuesday everyone! We had an epic day of waves… well, let me rephrase, we had an epic morning of waves! There was a magical window and I caught it all in the early AM. Click more if you want to see…. I promise you won’t be disappointed!!!!
This photo alone exemplifies how sick it was out there for all the dawn patrollers. Big, mean, nasty & beautiful…. all at the same time!
The most ironic part about today was how epic it was in the morning…. and how Sh!!ty it turned so quickly for the rest of the day. Scott here, reaping the rewards of practicing the age old adage of “the early bird gets the worm”!

Anyone who was out there this morning knows……. it was pretty freaking EPIC!

Speaking of another return guest and stand out surfer… JJ, back in his element, like he never even left (for grad school and a bunch of other super mega intelligent things he did while he was away).

There are many things to love about Nicaragua. One of them is certainly the surf.
PhiLu has a lot of passion for many things… one of them is learning Spanish. Another is he’s a very talented cinematographer. The other is getting the biggest barrel of his life. I think he’s come to the right spot!
In the surfing world, the phrase, paying the taxes get’s used quite bit.
Unfortunately here, it’s synonymous with just about every paddle out.

If Scott had a semi decent day today, I’d be surprised. I’m sure he’s already been asleep for 6 hours before I even got my report up today.

Alex, who’s visiting with a big group of friends from Newport Beach, CA for his amigo “Steve’s” bachelor party managed to sneak away from all the hoopla and Flor De Caña just in time to snag this frothy barrel this morning. Sans hangover…. we’ll never know. What happenes in Nica, stays in Nica. Las Vegas is SOOOO Overrated anyways!

Hello and happy weekend to everybody. After the swell the waves are friendly and are rolling nice. Check how light is the offshore wind and the water looks so clear.
