Today consisted of A LOT of search and explore, looking for ANYWHERE that was surf-able. We pretty much scoured the entire southern region today looking for waves. Alas we found the best place to surf… albeit, it pretty much looked the same everywhere today. BIG and messy.

So what do you do when finding something remotely surfable just isn’t in your favor… you suck it up and paddle out anyways. Fábio relieved to be out of the car and ready to get into some waves.

Of course it’s easier said than done when this is what your paddle out looks like. YEY!!!

Fábio making the most out of his short session.

The peanut gallery and a cold Toña might of been the best seat in the house all day here.

No pressure Chris, its just everyone watching you, Danilo and Fábio surf like its a heat in really big Huntington Beach winter conditions.

There were a couple moments of well…. hmmmm… M A B Y E ? ?

Danilo getting in a couple turns before the rain decided to finish off whatever conditions were even a slight possibility of a very mediocre surf sesh.

With the pulsing swell (if you haven’t seen all the hype on social media today from our neighbors up in El Salvador where it’s absolutely going OFF) Central America is definitely lighting up right now!

Some unknown guy decided to come out and play too. Kudos for making the paddle out amigo!

Peeping tom peanut gallery shots are always fun when you know you’re gonna be pretty limited on the amount of surf shots you’re going to be coming home with for a surf report.

Danilo, nice sombrero hombre!

If you’d like to see a good size comparison of one of todays set waves, check out Chris (bottom left) paddling back out. Oddly, it’s offshore in this shot too??

Chris, not very long after that paddle back out nabbing one last one in, trying to hopefully backdoor this thing if it should want to open up. Unfortunately, to his surmise, it was a crumbly big lumpy and bumpy wave. Let’s hope these winds clean up the next day or two, so we can all get some fun waves while we have some amazing swell!

So, the other day I posted a pic of a photography session we were doing at one of NSR’s newly renovated homes in Rancho Santana. Here are a few of the finished shots of Casa Brown. Enjoy ~

Beautifully renovated kitchen, looks amazing!

This house is a 5 bedroom home, this being the master bed, looking straight out to one of the best left hand point breaks in the area, which is also pretty exclusive for accessibility. Imagine waking up, having a cup of coffee while checking this spot right before you paddle out.

Another one of the many bedrooms here.

and another… this one comes with a mini fridge and half kitchen setup with a pull out sofa/bed.

The architecture of this home is stunning. Every detail on this Extra Large home is top notch, so your vacation experience is guaranteed to be first class.

Not mention the views are pretty ridiculous. If you’re keen on more info on this home and or would like to rent it please contact us here :www.surfnsr.com/pages/contact-nsrAlso, if you are already a home owner here or building your dream home and would like photos of your home or property rental, you can contact me here,[email protected]I would love to help boost your rental possibilities by capturing beautiful photos of your Casa like this one, for you!! Alright you frothed out people, lets hope we can make it fun day tomorrow, locally and not drive for hours in search of waves again mañana. It was a fun day, but it’s time to get some rest and gear up for another long day tomorrow. Hope to see ya out there! Saludos ~
