Happy Sunday Funday folks! It was a really great day of waves! Check out how the afternoon session looked!
Plenty of swell, perfect barrels and enough surfers to cover the entire arena of Playa Colorados.
Big drops and some big open barrels if you could get into them in time.
Here’s one of the smaller ones, but still enough room to get in under the lip and get the view!
This one obviously closed out in the end, but this unknown charger went for the hail marry!
That’s it water doggy! Perfect backside position and that lip about to throw out over him….. stay high and dry amigo!
It was super humid, so not a lot of fresh air blowing around, hence the sheet glassy conditions.
Taking this one all the way in to call it a day. Nice turn buddy!
Tomorrow we’ll shoot for the rights and the lighting will be more optimal from that angle too! I sure hope the rights look like this left mañana!
That’s a wrap for the weekend! As I watched these caballeros ride off into the sunset, it was the perfect way to end the day! Hope to see you again tomorrow. . .
