Somewhere in Nicaragua

I’ve shot so many pics in the last…. let me rephrase that. I’ve shot so many INSANE pics in the last 3 days that I’m literally exhausted from being out in the sun for so many days and hours, and it does’t look like the good waves aren’t going to stop any time soon either. Scotty on one of the many draining lefts that were on tap today.

This unknown guy was there yesterday when the conditions were just about the same today. Talk about scoring a double double.

The size (as forecast) was supposed to drop down considerably but the only thing to go down was some sick shredding, like this stickered up traveling schralper!

Here he is on the other side of the schralping end of surfing’s regular footed high end talent.

Barrels…. for days. Literally!!

Dana hunting around for some of todays nectar. Doing great out there chica!!

The size was a little variable, but most of them (referring to the barrels of course) were about in this size range.

Some a tad bigger, but I don’t think anyone out there had their tape measures on them.

Some frothy ones too! How much does this look like a giant round barrel made of root beer float! Haaa wound’t that be something.

I know Little Carlito would LOVE that! Yeaaaah little buddy!!! Charging it in the shore pound. Look of that face of stoke!

JG with his big gun out there for the bomb sets that were still coming through. He usually rides a traditional longboard, but it got busted on that really big day the other day, so would this maybe be considered his “step-down”? Either way, he charges any and every legit swell that hits this shoreline.

The other John, but with an M. digging into his bottom turn like he’s probably done at all the reef breaks he’s surfed over the decades in Indo. That and here as well is where he’s gotten all his big and or heavy surfing practice in.

Another unknown….

but never blown! Saw quite a few people with incredible barrel skills over the past month alone, but the one factor that still remains is how you treat your wave after you’ve successfully driven through it unscathed.

Like this perfect example here from Kev. The guy has styles for miles!

This is Beto. Beto is Tico and his surfing (not to mention his family surfing’s historical proven bravado in legit surf all over) is 100% world class!!

How do you think that new GoPRO 9, or wait… what is at now, 10?…. well, whatever, you know what I mean. How do you think THAT clip came out today? They (GoPRO) should be using it on their website I imagine.

Ok, I’ll be honest… I had 50 really really sick highlights to choose from today, but due to lack of time to write 50 captions, I cut that down to about half. Do any of you guys or gals ever go check out the Instagram account – you know there’s more on there right? (check below for the link if you never knew we even had an IG account). Heck, what I really wonder is who’s on IG but actually comes on here (the Ol’ Web-a-roni and reads my goofy a$$ comments every time I’m up for bat???? JAJA
