This is the best surf we’ve since since Tuesday and Alex is on it! He actually got a complete cover up and came out by punching right through doggy door that was already closed. Nice one buddy!

Actually a lot of guys from their 20 man bachelor party crew were out there today. Being that they’re from Newport Beach, Ca, this looks like a pretty nice average onshore day, so they were all ripping!

Mi hermano and always so stoked to be back in Nica-Land, Ricky, is from the other side… meaning East Coast, so this is almost identical conditions for him as well.

Could be a shot from your home break in Florida, ya Ricky???

Despite the funky brown runoff rain water and unideal onshore winds, there was actually some pretty nice sized surf out there on the sets. Just watch out for them jumbo brown logs!!!!

Team Newport Crew, smashing anything and everything that was out there today.

Being that I moved here just a few miles from where these guys live, I can assure you that this could easily be a shot just south of the HB peir on any given day.

I met Dillon today for the first time. He’s one of the Newps dudes too. Sick & Stylish bottom turn buddy!

When he came out of the water (which was only for about a 5 min re-wax) he said the water was like a jacuzzi out there; hence the reason for a little re-wax, it all melted right off!

There were some heavy wipeouts out there as well. Make no mistake, this place packs a pretty nice little punch.

Not sure who this hombre is, but he was out there killing it along with all the other frothers!

Big Will came down this time with my buddy Ricky. When I asked him if he liked Nicaragua, it was a no hesitation big YES! Stokes to see you out there today amongst the shred fest amigo!

Ricky, navigating or contemplating back-dooring that really thick end section ahead. Or could be a really huge ramp…. DO ETTTT BUDDY!!! Do iT!!!!

Or not, because this is what happens. Third broken board I’ve seen in two days. OUCH!!! That thing looks like it’s a feshie too!
RECENT REPORTS

Hello Wednesday, I checked Panga Drops mid morning and the wind was blowing pretty stiff and sideshore. Still plenty of swell in the water. @tonyzphotos reporting.
FROM THE ARCHIVES

Howdy surf fans! Well, I have some fantastic news. Today we were graced with some much needed cleaned up conditions out there in the ol’ ocean. After a pretty long stint of pretty horrible conditions, the winds were finally calm and the water was just as tranquilo. Check it out!
