Happy Hump Day Wednesday amigos!! It’s my Friday, but that doesn’t mean the fun will stop if I take a couple days off. However, here’s to taking a much needed break but in the meantime also leaving you all with some nice surf shots for you to enjoy from todays still firing and epic waves! Disfrutar ~

The right version of Macaroni’s out there today, and the only missing one thing. . . just a razor sharp reef! Otherwise, it looked eerily like the Mentawais!
I’m sure everyone who’s been here for for the better part of I’d say the last 3 or so weeks have come, or are still here and or have gone already. Can all agree, making the trip to Nicaragua was probably one of, if not the best decision of their 2023 surf year!

Like I said, it looked like anywhere from the Indian Ocean to the South Pacific, but somewhere even more tropical than this Latin American slice of heaven. Oh, did I mention there’s even more BIGGER swell coming too!
Might have to start calling this place “Slot Machines”, ya know, just to throw people off. Jaja!!

Happy 4th of July! The size of the surf dropped notably today. There were still good sets, but patience was key (again). Hard to believe there were no takers on this one!

Happy Sunday Funday amigos!!! Well, today was another day of unfavorable winds. However, although I couldn’t make the super early AM glassy session, I was rolling the dice on the afternoon session. Well, the winds were still poo poo, but the size was for sure much better. Now we just need some surfers!
