It pulsed fairly hard today despite a small forecast call from Surfline. That being said some of the grommets were having a field day on the insiders while the adults were sat out further waiting for sets.

The wind and surface texture of the waves were dreamy. Sheet glass with a light puff of offshore flow.

Nothing wrong with blasting the lip on an insider instead of opting for the barrel.

The groms were sneaky and managed to find some shade underneath the adults’ radars.

Koji found a leg burner on a rivermouth right runner.

Two rounded out stylish carves and a finishing smack on the inside producing a solid ride for Kojer.

A visiting surfer working on his rail game like Koji. He could work on having his head lead his board’s nose (vision in sync with desired direction).

This grommie got compact, but on these wave it wasn’t enough. He needed to be compact and take the high line. If you spend enough time here as a youngster then you’ll get good at riding tubes real quick.

Crystal clear blue barrels. What a fun run of waves we’ve had. Surfline is calling for less energy tomorrow, but it was arguably bigger today than yesterday haha. Hasta mañana.
