Hola y Bienvenido! Pinch me, because it’s Tuesday….. NOOOOO, well yes it’s Tuesday, but it was ANOTHER super fantastic day of waves. It’s getting late because it was a super long day so let’s get on with it already!!!!
Perfection can only last so long right??? Well, I hope I didn’t just jinx that, but for reals, the “Super Epic-Sick” swell factor is that this place is and has been working like a machine that was built in the 60’s. And that Sh!t ran forever, if you’re old like me and remember your parents AND grandparents appliances still working and you were born in the 70’s. What happened to good long lasting woking stuff anyways? Oh well…. we’ll save that topic for a later date. But here’s looking at the Maytag of a Nicaraguan Maytag Washing machine! lol

Carlitos or should I say the icon barrel surfer Carlitos. Glad to see he’s back to rocking the Fro! I have photos of him almost a decade ago of him with that same hair dooo! Like he likes to do his barrels…. It’s fresh and invigorating!
Zinger, sadly on his last cutback slinger! I actually think this was his last wave. He was chirping out right after he got out on this last one. Until August homie!!! I got a folder waiting for you when you get back to the mainland!

I’ve so been into the cover up lately with what would normally be my one shot, if someone makes it as my “Mystery Barrel Surfer” on the occasional reports, but everyone has been so so steep and really freaking deep on just about every wave, I wanna give you’ll (you be the surfers – if you happen to browse the ol’ website) a little homework. Let’s see how good your memory is and how well you know you’re surf attire and the nose of your board.

This guys sequence was actually pretty darn rad! I just gotta say that much. Dude pulled and executed one of the cleanest and just classic PC’s in’n’out barrels without even doing anything but sitting in the tube and enjoying the ride and coming out clean without a water droplet out of place! Gotta love PC!

This is Asher. It rained all last night. If he did this same kind of turn yesterday, that would explain the really freakish out of nowhere rain that came all last night then.
What’s even more freakish but super rad… almost as rad as this kids slash-back, was there was no morning sickness and it was just as perfect as it’s been for the last week, like if hadn’t even rained at all last night.
This was about the only messy thing I saw out there this morning, but that’s not Ryley’s fault. This wave was just getting up late this morning and sorta grumpy. had a little bit of “tude” to it. But Ryley gave it a little Haskell Spanking!

Haha that last comment was a super inside joke because everyone who was here last year had the ultimate unique once in a lifetime in history to experience Nicaragua like they got in a time machine and surfed it like it was 1999. Ryley on a much smoother version of his earlier wave. the kid rips and surfs like a machine. So basically him and this wave were meant for each other!
Some people like lettuce wraps, Colorados will let us all have a chance at our own wrap at some point. you just gotta get here!

YUP!!! And just like that it was 25 frames of todays fun filled morning glory session. The ANEEEEEMAL saying a aloha and we’ll see, well not everyone again tomorrow as I think about half or more of everyone out left today. Happy Monday people! Well it was another small day of waves and a bit onshore but it’s kinda the calm before the storm so to speak. Lots of juicy swell heading our way…. Enjoy some of these pre-warm up waves for now!
Happy Saturday Everyone! And what a day it was…!!! After shooting for almost 8 straight hours today, split into 3 different parts thoughout the day; and how incredible the surf conditions got from sun up after about 4 days of heavy rains and onshore winds, you’re in for a special treat with todays surf report!..
Well, it’s that TGIF time again… oh ya and welcome to the surf report! The longest running surf report here in Nicaragua. We had some really fun medium sized surf with quite a few visitors out there sharing waves all morning. Checkity check it!
