Josh was out there surfing for maybe an hour before I decided to pull out the camera and clock in for reporting duty. I’m glad I did when I did too, check out this sick little glassy nugget of a wave.

He’s been working on this airs with the onshores… looks like he’s getting better too!!

“The Ultimate Setup”

Always stoked to see at least one of the two grom brothers heading out for a little shred the gnar action. Hey where’s Yugi?

Here’s a good size-O-meter and reference to todays surf… before I started to see some of those front runner sets.

Almost aquarium clear out there today. Koji, winding up!

This little guppy is already packing some punch with his turns, like he’s displaying here.

Emilio a surfer visiting from Managua was one of the only 3 out there today. Lucky for him the normal peak season crowds of 50-60 + people are elsewhere.

Josh digging in with as much speed as he can utilize for that upcoming section.

BAAAAAMM!! Nice one dude!

Mr. Chris, aka your host with the most, always practicing “safe socializing”

Whewwwww what a sick little wrap Koji-man! Perfect form and body positioning.

It also helps that he can walk literally about 100 yards from his front door step to the waters edge. Every. Single. Day.

As if this onshore madness hasn’t lasted long enough, only less than a week, however I wanted to share what friend of mine posted today on social media:WARNING Notice #2 / CENTRAL AMERICA Torrential rain between May 30 and June 4 could cause severe flooding and landslides in Nicaragua, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras and northwest Costa Rica. Low pressure could turn into tropical depression early hours on Saturday May 30th generating strong waves on the Pacific coast from the coast of Guanacaste province in Costa Rica to the Guatemala and Mexico border during the 30th. and May 31, in this scenario the safety of small boats will be compromised. Waves can exceed 4 meters high on the high seas and cause coastal damage throughout the coast of the above area. Low pressure off the Pacific coast of Central America is 70 % cyclonic chance for the next 5 days as reported by the U.S. National Hurricane Center. This forecast represents data analysis made by Geography of Nicaragua based on information from NOAA’s Global Forecast System.* This forecast has a high degree of uncertainty at the time of this publication, this forecast is not in consensus to the ECMWF forecast, however given the high reliability of both models, we have decided to inform the possible consequences that GFS data reflect us. * For official information contact the relevant local authorities. * Forecast subject to update Jose M. All that being said… that would explain all this heavy humidity and god awful mugginess. All I know is Koji doesn’t really care at this moment on this wave.

He just wants to get barreled!!!!

The cyclonic weather could or is rather going to bring some big waves to our beaches. Lets just raise our hands and prey there’s some surf-able waves somewhere in there!

Remember I said I saw some front runners starting to come in….

Koji on one of the early birds.

It was also a great day to get out there and have a daddy daughter X 2 date/hike. Mr. Colin with his hands full. Hope you enjoy the rest of your day amigos. Be sure to check in for Baldo and Chris’s reports tomorrow and Thursday!! See ya in the next fews days ~
