Hey everyone this is Robert "Lucha Libre" ,Jairo "Come Pan" Panic, and Mateo "Pledge" with the dirty Friday report. We just endured tropical storm Alma and she gave San Juan del Sur a beating. The river broke through the bay and brought a ton of debris into the lineup. Now the storm has passed and once the river stops flowing the bay will get back to its normal beautiful self. Today was warm and sunny with some small, choppy surf. Check it out!

To give you a better perspective on the raging, dirty river we got this shot. This really shows how much shrubbery is getting washed into the bay. Just last week you could drive right around the river, but now you are going to need a boat or a white water raft to ford this beast.

English-Pedro “Cacsate” Florez here is generating some speed through some chocolate brown water setting up for the next section. “Cacaste” said that after surfing in that water it really put him in the mood for a chocolate milkshake from Eskimo.

English-No matter how small and weak the surf is Rex “La Bestia” Calderon is always out there doing some pretty sick maneuvers. I think on this one he almost landed right on a tree!
Espanol-No importa qué tan pequeño y débil el surf es Rex "La Bestia" Calderón siempre está por ahí haciendo algunas maniobras muy enfermas. Creo que en este casi aterrizó en un árbol!

Alright, this is the last shot of the day letting you see how much the bay has changed in just less than two weeks into the rainy season. The landscape really does get a lot greener just with a little water. Then with a lot of water we get a lot of trees and boats on the beach. Hopefully the waves are better tomorrow. Dale pue!
