Somewhere in Nicaragua
What’s up everybody?! Welcome to a fresh week of NSR surf reports with Parker. Before we start, we want to wish y’all a Happy Mother’s Day to those moms in Nicaragua and a Happy Memorial Day to our friends back home!
Last night, we received a dumping of rain! For the surf, that resulted in a grey cloudy morning with a touch of onshore winds. However, the locals, wells, and crops need it so we aren’t complaining!
Also, a couple forerunners were beginning to show. Nothing substantial has filled in yet, but a few promising waves crept through.
There was one almost barrel this morning. Unfortunately, this surfer had to burn the guy who had priority to squeeze into the pocket…
As previously mentioned, today is Mother’s Day in Nicaragua! To celebrate, NSR invited all the moms to a fiesta a Mi Ranchitas for a luncheon and hangout. Moms- you guys are irreplacable, the best ladies we know, and incredible human beings to put up with us. We appreciate all you do (especially rubbing aloe on our sunburnt backs)!
Speaking of great moms, here is Salvadorra going in on the pinata. I guess she had to take out some pent up emotion from raising Chico Ruiz and putting up with Don Aldofo’s jokes!!!! Just kidding, Fransisco is an awesome son and Aldofo’s jokes are always funny!!
Back at the beach, Trey has been working with DJ Zymkowitz for make an edit. Despite the unfavorable winds, Trey was busting some airs and enjoying his morning!
Yogi Bear famously said: when there is a fork in the road, take it! Trey reciprocated and said: when there is a corner, smash it!!
A hand full of the waves were closing out but it didn’t stop this surfer from locking in. Yeah buddy!!
To the military families back in America, we want to wish you a Happy Memorial Day. Whether we are here in NICA or there in The States, we still appreciate your loved one’s sacrifice for our freedom. Thank you for your providing protection and safety.

Hey everyone! Welcome to Saturday’s surf report from Panga Drops. The waves were very clean this morning, but nobody wanted to surf at low-tide. There were still a few good corners scattered across all of Pangas’ peaks.

Hello my people, this is the Saturday surf report. In the morning, the offshore wind was light and the waves were fun. The sets were shoulder high with some barrels rolling going left and right. Check it out.
Hola amigos, the conditions were no the best today but there were still some waves to ride. Shoulder high waves on the bigger sets, onshore winds and warm water. Check it out!!!
Hola amigos, Happy mother’s day in Nicaragua. This is Lucha Libre one more time, reporting from down south. The conditions were not the best today and we barely had 4 guys out in the water over playa Maderas. Chest to shoulder high waves were running in, the water was nice and the winds were light..
