What’s happening friends?! Welcome to the midweek surf report at NSR with Parker. We enjoyed another fun morning in our backyard so check out the shots!
The same SW swell is still sending open rights. We like this direction because the waves are more hollow (and I’m on my frontside)!
Where there is a barrel, there is a Lesther Espinoza. Becuase he’s spraying himself in the face and can’t see for himself, check out the view he enjoyed!!
Despite the onshore tinge and subpar texture, Lesther finds a way to squeeze into the green room. The chocolate barrels subsided and returned to a normal color last night.
Normally, Lesther’s trademark claim is a big stylish man turn. Maybe times are changing as his surfing progresses everyday? Check out the report in a couple months to see what new tricks are up his sleeves!
And what about his brother Oscar? Lesther kills it on his frontside and Oscar is the backhand master.
Any objections??? Yeah, we’d probably be as happy as those two if we spent that much time in the tube…

The onshores were more prevelant today so it as tough locking into a tube. Regardless, we had a great session and it’s offshore for 11/12 months of the year.
Dana Martino was on it early. Big, small, on or offshore, she is all smiles and stoked to surf 80 degree water!
Because we missed him on our Instagram today (@surfnsr), this wave is dedicated to the resident Iguana Floater Specialist: Nacho. We’ll see how he and his surfing responds to his new title.
Most waves were powerful and strong; however, a few featured soft faces with corners. This unknown surfer gouged the lip off this wave.
And he unfortunately paid the price ten minutes later in the barrel. The 15% Nicaraguan sales tax is rough but a 100% Colorado sales tax is a little rougher on your wallet.
If your name is Lesther Espinoza and you make most of your barrels, you aren’t sweating it too much. Keep hooking him up with cutting edge boards Shapeshifter!!
It’s a bummer about the winds but thankfully there is plenty else to do. For example, hop on that boat and go fishing… it’s turning on and the fishing are biting!!

Hi there, Lucha Libre and El Codo Lopez here with your Saturday surf report. We got super early to the beach to beat the onshore winds. Winds were super light, waves were runing about ches to sholder high on the bigger sets, and the water was nice. Check it out!
