Somewhere in Nicaragua
Welcome back for the Tuesday surf report. Brian back at it looking for the best window of opportunity for the best photos of the day. Today started out with a lot of ripped out fast moving current and a lot of water moving around. Besides there not being any surfers out, until the later afternoon, this only meant one thing. Here’s clue number 2. Today might have been a good call to hit up one of the good old go to boat trips to one of the many other surf breaks north or south of here. As you can see way out on the outside, the winds were kicking a bit today.
One of my “Go-To” surfers who, when he’s not too busy working himself, I can always count on seeing Josh out there in the lineup when it’s not only empty, but there are decent waves to be had out front.
My new amigo Cash that I meat today just got down here and much like the last stealthy crew that timed their strike mission accordingly, he’s come with the same exact idea…. and I think he’s about to score, pretty much like he’s scoring here with empty barrels and only a couple people out (so far).
They say money doesn’t just come out of thin air, but my new amigo Cash, is proving that theory all wrong! Chaaaaaaa-Chinnnng!!!~~~ All I hear is slot machine diiiiiings ringing in the back ground in this photo! JAjaaa
OK, here’s the third and final clue, which is pretty obvious.
BOOOOOOOM!!!! Yup, that new swell has officially arrived, and on time like clockwork too. We’ll just have to see how it pans out and looks in the AM, as it was coming in strong with A LOT of waves and super strong current in each set (especially for the “early” front runners”) Might be Epic, to even all time tomorrow if this swell, which does have quite a bit of west in….. so let’s hope it shapes up and is well groomed and firing on all cylinders mañana!
UH OHHHHHH… this is what you don’t want to do here. Which is get caught up in the lip. Like Turtle said best…. “When the wave breaks here, DON’T be there, or you’re gonna get drilled”!!!!!
With that west in this angle, I’m gonna guess the rights will be the call in the morning (if its clean) and if I’m right (pun intended) tomorrows pics AND waves for those of the lucky ones here right now, could be getting a three peat of what May had, only now it’s Junes turn!
I can’t believe it’s already June of 2021. But for those who’s managed to finagle their way down here have been certainly reaping the rewards of what we (who live here) like to call our own little magical slice of paradise!

If what I saw coming in off the rocks at “Mysto Lefts” before Amarillo, and I actually saw the indicator swelling up and already starting to pulse way outside…… I can only imagine how big it’s gonna be tomorrow up at the reef. Hola and Happy Monday! Today I lucked out and found a few people surfing. There is some decent size swell out there, unfortunately the winds are still onshore, but there were some fun little corners to be found. You just needed to be in the spot! Check it out!

We had some incredible beautiful weather today with amazing blue skys, lush greenery everywhere from all of the recent rains and water that looked looked like it was from the Caribbean. The surf was still a bit onshore and mixed up, but there were still plenty..
Hola everyone and happy TGIF surf report. Checking in a little late today, but for good reason…. I was out playing in some fun surf up north with some friends visiting from Japan today. It was good, so you definitely should keep scrolling on down to see how it went.
