Somewhere in Nicaragua
What’s up everyone! This is Jairo “Come Pan” Panic, Roberto “Lucha Libre”, and Mateo “Pledge” with the surf report from Maderas today. Today the waves were running about waist to chest high, with offshore wind, and warm water. The waves were a little disorganized but there were still some fun ones to be had. Check it out!

The first surfing shot of the day goes to Rodolfo “Calibilly” Zapata. This guy was in a pretty good mood today dancing and singing on the beach before he went surfing. It showed in the water because he was getting a lot of fun waves like this one!
This next shot goes to Augusto “La Gaviota” Chamorro who flying across this lip with a nice speed floater. He was pretty stoked because he not only had us taking pictures of him, but his lady was on the beach taking some video as well.
There is never a dull moment at the beach with Rex “La Bestia” Calderon in the water. Here is “La Bestia” in the air vertically spinning and he’s as comfortable as can be.
English- Today we saw a really pretty girl on the beach so we thought we would give the interview another shot. This is Donna from Massachusetts who has been here for only three days, but she plans on staying for a total of three weeks! Donna and her friend have decided that their favorite beach is Playa Maderas because it is so beautiful, with fun waves, and there is a pretty chill scene on the beach. It was a pleasure meeting you Donna we hope you have a great stay here in Nicaragua. Se trata de Donna de Massachusetts que ha estado aquí por sólo tres días, pero los planes para quedarse en un total de tres semanas! Donna y su amiga han decidido que su playa favorita es Playa Maderas, porque es tan bella, con divertidas olas, y hay un escenario bastante tranquilo en la playa. Fue un placer conocerle Donna esperamos que difrutes los dias que vas a quedarte en Nicaragua. Go for it!
The last shot of the day goes to Luis “La Baloy” Chamorro who is caught here on a fun looking left doing a nice backside snap. We are hoping the waves will be a little bigger tomorrow. Alright, check back!

Ok folks, Pancho here with the surf report for Sunday. We’ve got some good swell in the water, but the wind is still onshore. There are definitely places to surf if you go look for it, but we opted to sit today out. Instead of posting a surf report today, I wanted to call some..
This is Roberto with the surf report and spanish class for today. I woke up this morning and decided to explore around, we’ve got overhead sets wave sometime double. Check it out.
The winds backed off some today, but they are still onshore. We have good swell in the water too, solid and consistent head high sets at Maderas. It was very surfable and fun, but we are definitely missing our offshores.
