Somewhere in Nicaragua
Hi and welcome to the surf report for today, it is “Lucha Libre” here taking photos before this weekend’s contest. Finally we have offshore wind and some good waves. Check it out.
Here is the barrels show. This is Luis “La Baloy” Chamorro getting down and dirty. He’s practicing a lot because this contest will be full of the top competitors in Nicaragua.
But Mario “El Danino” Martinez is the boss getting barreled in this wave, so “La Baloy” has a big challenge for this contest.
We had a couple of good wipe outs today. Check out Pedro “Huesitos” getting worked, shot 1.

Hey everyone! Welcome to Saturday’s mid-afternoon surf report from Colorados. The wind came onshore mid-morning, but after a rain shower we lucked out with some still wind. It wasn’t very consistent, but the sets were sick when they came through. Look how thick the lips were on the sets / double-ups!

What do you get when you cross small waves and onshore winds (again)? Boredom. We’ve got photos from SJDS today, in the bay. Waist to chest, onshore and mush. Surfable though, if you want it. This is Carlos.
VICTORY AT SEA! Rainy and stormy conditions all day today. Didn’t bother going to the beach. Are you kidding me? There is no end in sight. If you are a surfer who knows about weather, please email us and let us know when this onshore pattern will stop.
