But, low and behold, the sky’s cleared and a little before noon, it looked like a completely different day, and I got out there and got some nice shots especially with some beautiful weather and now, the sky’s have turned back to dark and gloomy. So we’l just say, I caught that magic window just in time today! As a fact it was looking fun for the rights and lefts as you can see here!

I didn’t even check it early since it was pouring rain, but I imagine the rain also helped clean up the water and surf conditions as well. I can’t tell, but I think this Dario, wrapping up a nice little turn mid-vollyball court net.

Nuestro otro señor surf report dudie Y conserje capitán for NSR, Chris getting in some surf time on one of his day’s off.

Waves are still small, but the conditions were so clean and buttery, I even felt like handing the camera over to someone else so I could go play in the skatepark like conditions. It looked that FUN!

JG in his permanent retirement pose. You can add it up to double overhead to shin high, if you wanted to imagine it in this image. John’s gonna be out there regardless any size in-between there.

Ralph from So Cal stoked to be away…. super far away from the crazy LA crowds and filthy water. I know, I used to live there too. When I moved here, I never looked back.

Well, I mean, the only looking back is about all that goes on here when doing sick cutbacks like this here.

Jason sin el bottom turn, but here’s his perfect form top turn followed by…

His steazy n’ stylish cutty-wrap perfection from head to toe!

Being that this place had an entire season to just those of us who were “stuck here” while the whole world was on lock down. I’m starting to watch and wonder if and how all these new traveling surfers (who are finally getting to get back out into the surfing world again) actually surf at their home breaks… and I’m wondering if this place actually accentuates their surfing to a higher level being that this wave is soooo good. It really does make a HUGE difference with how well you surf and look when you’re surfing when you have really good waves to ride, like here in Nicaragua.

Take for example my buddy Lucas. I watched him surf and progress in one season (last year), where as for example, I watched surfers all up and down the California coast my whole life, in what seemed to be as if they were trapped with excelling beyond a certain level; I think due to the $hitty waves they have to surf every day.

Well, I know for a fact, I’ve watched the local kids for over 10 years now and I can say with complete confidence that surfing here has boosted their surfing at an incredible rate that I’ve never seen anywhere else in the world.

So who knows? I’m not sure who this guy is, and I’m not sure if he surfs any better here versus where he’s from …. but I do know for a fact that he’s having a freaking great time while being able to come to Nica-Land!

Skatepark would be an understatement for todays conditions. Oh, and that magic hour window. Perfection in every way for everyone who timed that one today… including myself.

OK, I’ll throw in one “Mystery Barrel Surfer”, one, because he asked me if I got his tubo (sequence and I told him, in fact yes I did! And two, he’s somewhere on here in the report early as well. Let’s self you can figure out who it is???

Lucas, pre surf stoke super grin, beause ya, he as well as al of us saw the day go from rainy and super duper gloomy to what you all just saw. It was beautiful out there, I just hope we get lucky with another window mañana! I’ll see ya again for the Tuesday report.
