As you’ve all been seeing from our daily surf reports, we’ve had nothing but undesirable onshore conditions for some time now. Last night though, the nightly lighting, thunder and rain storm went off and we all came to the beach this morning to find super clean glassy with almost no wind conditions and pumping surf. Josh here, pinching himself as he’s reminded exactly why he chose to live here!

Kai has been putting in A LOT of time out in the water… and I say that with in the sense that’s he’s putting in a lot time very passionately. After paying his dues with many many hours in crappy surf, today he was rewarded with a lot of super fun barrels. Here’s just one of his many in’ & outs’ this morning.

He drove through this thing for a while. I wish I could post his entire sequence. it was unreal!

Punching through the doggy door and about another hundred hours clocked in super sick Nica barrels!

When you know, you gotta go! Hot Carl always knows when the waves are firing and there was no way he was going to miss out on the much awaited fun waves!

Nothing better than a few warm up waves to get the legs back to feeling good after a little hiatus from all those onshore days.

It’s funny because now looking back at the photos, it looks pretty offshore. It felt like a vacuum out there with zero wind. Derek loving these waves every single day not matter what way the winds blowing or not.

It was very solid out there and a lot of guys were making almost all the waves. It definitely was all time Colorados today and not it’s evil wannabe twin, “Wallorados” haha

Manny on a bomb left!

How would you rate how clean and perfect this wave is? 1 to 10.

There have been a few private charter jets flying in and out the last couple of days from Costa Esmerelda. I know Jackson isn’t planning on going anywhere, but he’s still flying here locally.

Raise you hand if you loved todays waves!!! Emilio is 100% in!!!!

The rights were firing so hard!

and so were the lefts!!

I saw Kev make so many good waves today and took so many photos, my CF card officially hates me!! jaja

Classic PC drop with a Classic Nacho take-off, tongue out and ALL!!!

Hours upon hours were spent at the beach today. It was truly a changing of the guards all day in and out of the water. Jackson on his morning shift.

Well, 3K shots later and a quickly dying battery, it was time to say it’s time to head back to the office and prepare for the second half of the day. Like eat, rehydrate, offload, ya know… stuff like that!

Ended up coming back down for the afternoon session and it was still firing!

It was actually more glassy in the afternoon than earlier in the day. John Gillem in his absolute happiest place on earth!

Nothing should ever bring you down… well, except maybe only a lunar high tide and one of the crazy sneaker waves that rushes up the beach and takes you out! But as long as you’re still laughing afterwards, you’re certainly doing things right in life!

After so many days of not surfing, a surfer could possibly say that they may have gone a bit stir crazy without their daily dos of vitamin C-Salt! Cesar, much like everyone else here, super stoked to be back in the ocean!

TZ back in action with this super sick backside snap attack!

When that term “Out side” means a little more than usual, when you take a wave almost all the way in and kick out to find this.

Colin on a proper one!

Devon rides a lot of really cool and “unordinary” surf crafts for his choice of wave sleds under his feet. Looks like this one’s about as timeless as his turn here!

Nando making the end of this super high tide closeout wave his B!tch!!!

And with that… it was over and everyone went home the happiest they’ve been in a long time since before everything went chaotic & murder hornets supposedly were going to take over the world!

So that’s my closing for the day. Hope you enjoyed todays surf report. Feels so good to be back in real surfing action with waves that we’re used to seeing here. I’ll see you all again tomorrow. Have a good night ~

FROM THE ARCHIVES

Howdy everyone, welcome to the days surf report. Not a whole lot going on since we had a bit of rain early on in the day. The onshore winds mixed with the rainwater runoff didn’t seem to appeal to too many surfers today.
