Nicaragua Surf Report for Saturday, June 08, 2024

Josh S

Hey everyone. Welcome to Saturday’s surf report from Colorados. We lucked out this morning with some favorable winds and decent swell. Lucky, lucky indeed.

Josh S

Down at the South Peak this guy missed the boat. It happens sometimes.

Josh S

On the other hand, we had a surfer do everything within his power to tuck into this tight, long, right runner. He knew the value of the waves at hand this morning, and that he’d better not miss out haha.

Josh S

Schwappah! Nice fin ditch from Mr. Backside Revo. He is a regular character on the report now haha!

Josh S

*Kaboom*

Josh S

This guy needed the hand-plane strapped on and ready for the transition haha.

Josh S

It wouldn’t be a proper surf report if I didn’t get any air shots of Mr. Backside Revo. He was hunting down the rights with end-sections like this for the specific purpose of working on his air game.

Josh S

The water color was blue and beautiful today. Surprisingly it wasn’t very crowded this morning which made for a fun window for those who did get out.

Josh S

Look here was an empty right drainer just for you! Unfortunately I’m not sure how much of this we will be seeing this month given the interesting wind forecast. I guess October came early this year haha!

Josh S

You like sandy brown barrels? No problem. We get those too.

Josh S

Well amigos, that’s all I’ve got for today’s action. It was a strange sight indeed to see some barrels rolling through after like a week of onshore winds haha. I wouldn’t bank on seeing many windows like this in the coming days though. However, Tony Z is back on the report tomorrow. So check in to see what action he captures.
