The first two national rounds were leaded by Luis “La Baloy” Chamorro getting some good waves like this one, but somebody else was right behind him.
I’m talking about Gustavo “Ding Repair” Noguera, who was out with some sick maneuvers. I think he is one of the surfers who can win this contest.
But don’t forget about Mario “El Danino” Martinez, one of the best surfers of the country. Here he’s swinging for his first national title.
Actually, there was a kid killing it out there today. He’s Darwin “El Cabucho” Jacamo from Limon. He made it for the semi finals in the junior and national heats.
Hey Darwin, don’t forget young Rex. Here he is with a nice floater, he’s one of the best juniors in Nicaragua.
…and how could we forget the most famous ass in Nicaragua?
Here is Cesar “El guineito” Amador going off the top with a cool shot. This kid surf pretty weel and he made it to the semi finals in both categories.
We always have a nice wipe out. This guy is not going to enjoy the party tonight for sure!!
Everybody thought that Oliver “El Monito” Solis was out of the contest, now he’s back and looking for a new title. Here he is just getting fun.

This is Gerardo “El Mope” Miranda representing San Juan del Sur with a sweet maneuver. He was in the last Quiksilver contest in Salvador just a week ago. This time he couldn’t make it to the semifinals.
