Somewhere in Nicaragua
Welcome to the Saturday onshore show! Today was about as onshore as I think I’ve seen so far this season. BUT, the good news, there were a few people out. So that means I did’t have to pull a recap day report and I actually have some surfers for you to check out from today! YEY!!!
That flag is not blowing in the right direction, in fact it’s been blowing this was for too many days!! STOPPPPP PLEASE!!!!
Definitely some swell out there, but it looked really rough out there!!
Like this rough! Or more like frustrating.
It looked like there were some clean enough shoulders to drop into, but. . .
Everything was too blown out, so you had to kick out before the wave ate itself!
This guy caught a few and got in a couple pretty sweet moves.

Cesar made it out just in time for me to catch a few of his long runners. . .
He actually caught 2 of the longest waves of the day out there. Here he is linking up and turbo’ing around this big whitewater section.
Nice little turn on the wave that seems to go forever (which was rare out there today!)
Still pumping and dodging and weaving, connecting section to the next section.
He connected the dots all the way in, but he’s been surfing here for years and he’s always out, rain or shine, or in todays case onshore! Yeaaaahh DUDIE!!
The Dude, always smiling and stoked to be at the playa, his favorite place in the world!
