Oliver doing the twist… while writing his own story here in Nicaragua.

Seems like there were a lot of people out there nailing the rail game today!

Some were a little shy and wanted to play a little hide ’n’ seek.

Scott absolutely manhandling this closeout section as if it were the Berlin Wall. Just taking the thing down like a bulldozer!

I’m not sure if Sophie likes aquariums, but todays lineup, aka, our little aquatic playground was exactly that. Crystal aqua blue water. Nice and PERFECT form on that take off Sophie!

Barry has or should I say, puts a lot of torque into his bottom turns (as you clearly can see here). The only difference is the liters on his board versus one of the boards probably one or more of you reading this would normally be ridding out there.

Here’s a perfect yin and yang of the image of Barry’s. This guy looks like maybe a tad smaller, but his board for sure is at least half the amount of volume, but the torque and spray say it’s all in how and what you ride and how well you know your equipment. Two different people, two different board styles, two different sick turns. That’s exactly why surfing is so cool!

Carlos knows a thing or two about this wave in particular. Here’s one.

and here’s two. Now don’t get me started on his barrel game!

Looks like it was also a crush-it-close-out Sunday Funday on a few of them… and by some pretty big dudes I might say, out there today.
Hey wanna watch something really really cool??? Then check out this rad little intro video to the YouTube world and meet one of Nicaragua’s newest and youngest up and comers Jett’i “MON” (as I like to call him) Abate. Get ready, as this humble little guy, but very BIG wave lover is just beginning his journey into the great big wide word of the surfing arena!

And it wasn’t all about the boys out there today either. There were quite a few ladies out there showing the fellas, Whats UP!!!!

Man, so whatever happened to airs lately? Are they like so 2019 or does it have anything with all the past travel bans? Did it really do something to the psyche of surfers and surfing above the lip??? Curious minds wanna know!

Well it’s a good thing that if there were to be some kind of weird deep psychological association with being cooped up inside for so long, what if people (surfers) opted for less time in any kind of room. But Naaaaa, I think surfers will never be stopped from loving the green room. EVER!!!!!

It is on this fine Sunday, a fun day I might add, that I will share this super sick, not only parting shot, but sequence of my buddy Billy, doing what we all like to call….. “GOING ALL IN”!!!!!

You just know automatically, when you take off on something this frothy and doubling up and only about 25 yards from dry sand, you either enjoy the thrill (or in better terms) the beatdown you know what this wave is going to serve you.

Or you just plain outright surf on a whole other level, that most other surfers don’t or will never have.

Billy I think has a little bit of both. But I know him and I’ve personally seen him surf anything and everything. If you look close…. That’s Billy “GOING ALL IN”!!!!!

See, look at what a Sunday Funday it was, it had everyone completely full of their surf desires. Completely wiped out! And that’s what you call a GOOD DAY!!!! FROM THE ARCHIVES

Such nice waves again today, we had one of the biggest crowds in the water that I’ve seen at one time for a few months.. about 20 heads out there. Very uncrowded in reality. Come check it out.
