Somewhere in Nicaragua
Welcome to the Sunday surf report all the way from… you guessed it, Nicaragua! This is your trusty Pledges Jeremiah “Chewy” and Mateo “Guineo” bringing you a little somethin’ for your computer screen! The waves blew, the wind blew, and my surfing blew. Haha well the waves were about chest to shoulder high closeout mushburgers. I felt like I was in Florida on a windswell. Check it out!
So today was obviously a no pants party and no one told the interns! So we show up to the beach with shorts on and look like kooks! Not cool, next time someone call us up!
This is about all I could muster up this morning. Looks like the wave was throwing me up! Stoked!
There was only one other guy out in the water that wasn’t learning. He was in on the no pants thing as well! I felt like such a kook out there! Pants and bad surfing, no bueno.
This is the trusty red truck. We were bored and the waves were so bad we decided to give it a nice picture.
As always, when the wind turns onshore, the fishing gets GOOD! Check out these next few shots sent in by our friends over at Surfari Charters. They had a group of friends in town this week and tore up the fish again. This is Mark Powell with a nice little Do-Do.

Hello and Happy Sunday. We headed off campus today to the south and tried to find some mellower waves. There’s still p[plenty swell in the water. @tonyzphotos bring you the days action.
Woah! The swell showed up big time this Saturday! Easily the biggest waves we’ve had this year, and probably since October or November of last year.

We’ve got another remote report from the NSR Beach House today. We’ve still got a super fun swell in the water. It’s head high and the wind was offshore until around 1pm. After yesterday, we didn’t need much (speaking of yesterday, we just added more pics, so check back if you haven’t seen them yet)..
