Somewhere in Nicaragua
CH CH CH Chewy puttin’ up the report for today… The waves are smaller but still super fun running around head high with some wind love and some surfer love. We got a couple good pictures for today.
While most of the waves weren’t barreling, they were super rippable and groomed to some fun walls to unleash on.
There was only 5 guys out from a boat so I had to shoot a bunch of sick photos of the same guys! I think I have a bunch of sequences of these guys killing it. Check this guy out putting on the breaks in the middle of a car crash!
This guy was doing some committed turns! I don’t think his fins will ever be the same! dude for the sake of the fins paddle in!
Now when I say it didn’t barrel, I mean it is Colorados… There were some barrels to be had.
I don’t know who these guys were but I was taking notes. Some great surfing was going down out there!.
Before I left I hung out with these guys videographer. He’s no Geoff Andruik but he’ll do. This guy, trying to get the shot!
I think these guys are telling me it’s about time to fly north… ugh. With only two days left I’m loathing the flight back to reality, a real job and lake Atlantic. See you on the flip side, Chewy!

Hello and Happy Sunday. We headed off campus today to the south and tried to find some mellower waves. There’s still p[plenty swell in the water. @tonyzphotos bring you the days action.
Woah! The swell showed up big time this Saturday! Easily the biggest waves we’ve had this year, and probably since October or November of last year.
