The morning started out with a super mega King low tide and was super drained out with a bit of morning sickness but there wasn’t any wind, it just needed some water to fill in. Here’s looking a bit later in the mid day after the tide was rising quickly and so was the swell.

There was a bit of mixed up stuffs going on out there. Long lulls, a lot of water moving around when the sets that were growing did come in. We had some nice little barrels….

And we had some of a bit out of control much bigger barrels and sets that were looking pretty hard to navigate.

Kev here knows this wave like the back of his hand, so this one was pretty impressive to watch as he threaded the needle on this macker!

Always putting his signature KC exclamation P!ont after every barrel he comes out of!

The reef was reeling out some serious bombs with the high tide and juicy swell coming in. A lot bigger than it looks a half a mile down the beach!

Certainly night and day difference then yesterdays surf!

Bauti tearing into this end section in BEAST mode.

This unknown surfer nabbed himself a rare left out there and came flying out like a steam boat! Haha – you see what I did there!

Always gotta save the best for last. Jason getting (at least while I was there shooting) the wave of the day!

Exactly just like a friend said to me today while we were there watching and anticipating whether it was going to turn on and be all time or not, he said “I bet the pics are going to make it look way better than it really is out there today”. . . while we watched Jason drive through this monster!

What do you think? Does it look FUN?

Maybe it would be better to ask Jason that question.

Like I said. . . definitely the wave of the day!!!!! Yeah buddy!!!!

Looks can be deceiving, BUT there’s certainly some decent swell in the water, so let’s hope it cleans up and this place turns on and is firing on all cylinders mañana ~Remember, even if you didn’t make the highlights you can always look at the link here for all theDaily Surf Shotsfrom each day, there might be a good chance you’re in there!AND don’t forget to follow us and always check out our current happenings on our daily Instagram stories hereNSRor my photography hereNica Surf Shots
