It always feels so nice to step outside your comfort zone (be it surfing OR life in general) but the last few days have been crazy (in a good way!). Kinda like the surf has been. Check out this dude, pulling in through all the pulled back jungle view.

Life is full of commitments. Surfing in itself is a microcosm of that said noun. Here this unknown dude is pulling the plug on life’s number one deciding factor said, “noun”. The outcome, well, I guess you guys will never know. But this person knows, and that’s the beauty of life!

And the then there’s very distinctive in your face, FACTS. Like this guys radically and stylish – no – doubt – about – it, he knows his place in the surfing world!

See the guy. . . OK, not really, but you see that land mass in the background? That’s pretty close to where I was when I woke up this morning. Yeah, it looks so close (much like this guys barrel) but it’s actually a few hours south, or further, actually. But I was a lot closer to it (much like this guy making his wave) point being, everything isn’t always so two dimensional.

Two things that’s for sure about this photo. From the obvious, the conditions were super clean and ultimately fun by the time I got back home today, but this guys turn is pretty freakin’ sick!

Surfing is FULL of A LOT of things most people or more realistically, MOST people don’t even see (unless they’re rocking a 400+ mm lens. Now I’ve personally had my leash wrapped around my opposite foot that the leash is attached to (who here has this happened to and absolutly HATES it when this happens????) Ok. So then there’s this guy (if you really closely) who’s got his leash wrapped around his hand…. (WTH??) that’s a new one for me; but ok, Sh!t happens when surfing, but this dudes pulling a full wrap around with his leash on his hand like he’s walking his doggy all while trying not to focus on the fact that his leash is wrapped around, said hand, all while keeping his cool while doing all this while trying not to cut off the legs of the guy in front of him. Impressive, and chaotic ALL at the same time!!! Kudos brother!!

Just another beautiful day in Nicaragua. You know, that place most of you have all been going to for years, but it wasn’t to Nica, but to that place in the background there. Ya, Costa Rica. For years.

Imagine how many foreigners you battled for waves over the years in Costa Rica or even El Salvador or Mex, for years before you finally heard that Nicaragua was actually a full on SUPER SICK place for surf?!?!?!

Surfing is always about progression, I mean I will stop right there and give props to skating, but, surfing actually gave birth to skateboarding and then skateboarding came back to surfing and gave A LOT back in return, and somewhere in the mix, snowboarding come along and filled in the blank spots. Point being. . . we’re all connected one way or another!!!!

Point noted!!! Jeison here, whom I’m pretty sure has never stepped foot on a skateboard, doing skateboard innovative moves on water!

Alrighty my friends, it’s great to be back and doing what I love and live for the most! I will see you again mañana ~Remember, even if you didn’t make the highlights you can always look at the link here for all theDaily Surf Shotsfrom each day, there might be a good chance you’re in there!AND don’t forget to follow us and always check out our current happenings on our daily Instagram stories hereNSRor my photography hereNica Surf Shots
