Got down there this AM when the tide was going pretty low. Check out my amigo Mikey getting slotted on a low tide drainer.
Here’s another one of him after I walked down on the sand and was standing about knee deep in the water on a sand bar where I would be about neck deep in water if it were high tide. Mikey, well below sea level.
Scott Wallach with the ol’ In-n-Out nugget of the day!
Things setting up nicely….
He didn’t even have to really pump through in this thing…
With a little stall behind the curtain…
And wallah, that’s some Wallach magic right there!
Conditions were much better even earlier.
I took a roll the dice risk today and opted for a hike to one of my favorite places to shoot from. Unfortunately, the tide had gotten too low to shoot from my secret spot. So maybe I’ll try again when we have that big(er) ground swell next week!?
That low tide chunky thing was starting to happen and it was actually looking pretty gnarly and rather dangerous. Jason NEVER GOES STRAIGHT. EVER! Check him packing this heavy closeout like a CHAMP!
The double ups were starting to show their ugly faces too. Watch out amigo, that’s only about a foot of water you’re about land in!!!
Jason was completely on fire out there today! Juts ripping every wave apart. Sick session hermano!
RECENT REPORTS
Hey everyone! Welcome to Friday’s surf report from Panga Drops. The conditions were very similar to yesterday, possibly a little bigger on the sets.
FROM THE ARCHIVES
Hola friends, welcome to the Thursday surf report. We have some much smaller swell in the water right now, but the sunny sky’s & white puffy clouds made up for our lackluster marginal surf. Still, as always a nice day to be at the beach. Come get your toes sandy with me!
