Howdy all you loyal surf report fans! It’s another Tuesday report day, but not just any Tuesday surf report day. We had some juicy waves today, but not just any juicy waves, we had really good waves and today is June 25th, which makes this a unique and special Tuesday that will never repeat itself ever again, Sooooo come check it out!
Mr. Derek finding himself in quite possibly his even 500th barrel of the season down here. Ya, it might sound facetious, but in reality, it’s probably pretty darn accurate.
On the flip side of things, or in the surfing world as its better referred to as the lefts. You can clearly see, they were working just as well!
When you see someone opting out on a wave like this, it only means one of two things : You’re too deep or out of position (which doesn’t look like the case here), OR there’s an even bigger wave out the back. D-Man with his eyes on something even more grande!
I just love it when the lineup is littered with talent. It’s the only kind of rubbish that should be allowed in the ocean. Kai making a beautiful mess out of one of the planets best and most precious resources.
It was pumping… just a little bit.

When there’s a changing of the guards at Charlie Eight, there’s sometimes a wave or two that might go by unridden. How’d you like to have this wave???
Carlos, quite possibly has been my mystery barrel surfer more times than anyone else than I can count. But that’s just between you and me.

To even make it into my mystery barrel surfer category of the day some prerequisite requirements are that you have to be almost 99% covered up AND you have to make it out. I don’t post no closeout hail marry’s! Sorry folks, we’re an honest working surf report here! But just so you know, this guy came OHHH SO CLOSE!!!!
Like I said, today was a special day… there will never be another one exactly like it.
That goes for each flip side of the coin.
