Somewhere in Nicaragua
We’ve got lots of rain today, offshore winds and a good sized wind swell in the water. The waves aren’t the best form, but the beachbreaks are nice and peaky. We headed up to Colorado and found some ones. Here is Hot Carl, getting ready for the paddle out.
Here is a shot of an overhead wave breaking. We had to put the camera away right after this shot because it rained nonstop for the next 4 hours. At least we got this one.

Hey everyone! Welcome to Wednesday’s surf report from Colorados. The waves were better by all measurable metrics today. It was still walled up and slow, but there were definitely some 10 pointers to be had.
Hey amigos! Welcome to Tuesday evening’s surf report from Colorados. The swell was bigger and stronger today, but it was very slow between the sets. I think the lack of a secondary swell combined with the sandbars not being in perfect shape made for long waits.
