Somewhere in Nicaragua

If you’ve been following us on the Reg, you know it’s been really good in terms of this place. Just trying to mix up the angles so you don’t get too bored.

If I have to give you a spoiler alert this early on… Ya, it was quite the barrel fest!

Although I’m not one to over exaggerate too bad with how rad it is down here. If you can count the ripples in this wave… that’s exactly how many times I had to do so in the eight years I’ve live here.

Mystery barrel surfers…. WAY TOO MANY TO COUNT TODAY!!! For reals!!!

The offshores were howling. The take offs were intense. Just another day here in Nica-Land!

In all seriousness, I think we have more stock in cover up than Madeline.

Mr. Seth back in the water after an unfortunate back injury in one of this coats lines most epic times in surfing history and not a moment too late.

Here’s a couple back to back sequences that should tickle you inner surfing core.

Great here, snap checking one of the best laid down barrels of the day.

When a wave covers you like this, and it runs for a long time. As a surfer, you will always and forever feel super lucky.

Getting spit out is just the cherry on TOP!!!

Giving a clinic in front of your friends pulling in is a whole different level of surfing recognition.

One… it shows you will always GO, no matter the situation. (ie., closeout, breaking your board, or looking like a kook!)

The bonus… if you make it…. your respect level grows exponationaly.

Did I mention that one of the hard charging people of the 5 or 6 guys out today while I was shooting was Carl Segerstrale, AKA hot Carl.

I can respectably say that this place has been consecutively working on a fickle tide and swell sensitive time chart.

That being said, I don’t think there’s a surfer in the world who would discredit this place EVER… as this place lights up like a Christmas Tree more regularly than Target OR Walmart in the off seasons when everyone else wishes for presents when they’re Santa is taking a much needed sabbatical.

If you like combing skating with your surfing experience. Look no further… as Dario will always help you up your game here!

Coming up with captions has got to be as equally hard as running a restaurant with daily or weekly menus, I can imagine. Mr. Chris here finds his inspiration while surfing; which has got to be one of the best logical combinations with food-to-table experiences for his customers at Don Eloys.

What makes you happiness when coming in from a surf session??? A barrel, a floater, a good cut back or wrap around on the inside after a draining barrel?

Well whatever Carl did, this is what I happened to capture. All I can say is… this is exactly how you should be running up the beach after any surf surf session.

No matter your stance on this whole world thing right now….. one thing is always for sure, looking at the ocean will always cleans and reboot your soul.

Especially when this is your vision!

Whatever, or whoever you wish to give thanks to, we should always be reminded that everyday’s a real blessing!!!
