Happy Independence Day! We celebrated the day with fun, head-high swell and offshore winds all day long. First off, we’d like to thank Hot Carl for today’s photo session – He’s out of the water due to his elbow injury, but (with a little help from Smirnoff Ice) he’s still hanging tough as we chase the surf around the country. Here is Zacateca on a nice set wave.

Hey amigos! Welcome to Thursday’s surf report from Colorados. I saw the waves turn on and off about 7 separate times today. The conditions were in constant flux. It just so happened to be that the best window of the day was when I took pictures around 1:00pm.
