Somewhere in Nicaragua
We’ve got another great day of surf here in Nicaragua. We’ve got overhead sets and the winds have been offshore all day. Today was Hot Carl’s and Zacateca’s last full day in Nicaragua, so we took a drive out to 4748’s to catch some waves. Check it out.
Zacateca was on fire today, making the most of his last session in Nicaragua…at least until next year. This is the first shot of a 5 shot sequence.

Of course, Hot Carl was in good spirits – again, sitting out with an injury. He started hitting the Smirnoff Ice early this morning, but as you can see from the photos, he never let it affect the quality of his work. Nicely done Hot Carl.
And just like that, three weeks have come and gone. Like good times do, it happened all too fast. Hot Carl and Zacateca, it was great to have you guys down – Nicaragua won’t be the same without you. Until next year…

Hey everyone! Welcome to Saturday’s surf report from Colorados. The waves were about the same size as yesterday, maybe a touch smaller. The wind was offshore and favorable all day. I took pictures around mid-day, so the sun was blazing and crowd was light.
Hey amigos! Josh back in town and behind the lens today and tomorrow. The waves still had size this Friday and the wind was offshore pretty much all day. The streak of consistent, quality waves continues. Aiden setting up for a big blast off the top in today’s opening frame here.
